José Galisi Filho, 51, é jornalista, Dr. Philosophie pela Universidade de Hannover (2003), Mestre em Teoria Literária pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1995), Bacharel em Letras e Direito pela Universidade de São Paulo (1988, 1985). Especializou-se na crítica cultural romântica conservadora e civilizatória, na estética do idealismo alemão e de Theodor W. Adorno. Foi colaborador do caderno cultural Mais! da Folha de São Paulo, entre 1998 e 2010, bem como de diversos mídias brasileiros (Veja, Isto É, Estado de São Paulo, Jornal do Brasil, Revista Bravo, Revista República) com apoio do Bundespresseagentur (BPA), do Governo Federal alemão.
